We are looking for candidates that want to make a difference in dogs' lives and earn a modest paycheck for this dedication.
We are looking for employees to provide care for sheltered animals, treat animals with kindness and respect, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the dogs.
Specific Job Duties:
Clean and maintain kennels, animal living areas, equipment, and other shelter areas daily.
Including, sweeping, mopping, taking out garbage, and washing, drying, and folding shelter laundry.
Provide each animal with food, water, and exercise following approved feeding and exercise protocols.
Follow proper safety measures and procedures when using handling animals, equipment, and cleaning supplies.
Assist other employees, adopters, and volunteers in a cheerful and respectful manner.
Inform executive director of any health and behavior issues with the animals.
Responsible for all other duties as assigned by the executive director.

Qualifications:
Must enjoy working with all types of dogs Able to follow oral and written instructions Able to humanely handle animals under various circumstances Able to work harmoniously with other employees Able to lift and properly handle medium and large size dogs Must be courteous and friendly with coworkers, adopters, volunteers, public Must be punctual, reliable, responsible, and have transportation Must have valid driver's license to transport dogs for medical care and rescue.
